What's your favourite destination? That's the question I get most from people. The answer is, I haven't been there yet. Pond Inlet, Nunavut, which is located in Canada on the 72nd parallel, is a standout. We traveled on a traditional Inuit sled 64 kilometres to the floe edge, where narwals and polar bears feast. We slept there too, in 24-hour sunlight.
Resting spot as we approach the floe edge.
The light changes very quickly up north, from brilliant blues to the likes of black and white photographs.
